The current offline app

This policy describes the offline Math Studio app, beginning with version 0.1.0, build 6. It does not require an online account and does not transmit learner profiles, answers or activity to the publisher. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs in the app.

Learners and local storage

A learner nickname and age are used on the device to identify a profile and choose suitable daily puzzle levels. Puzzle drafts, answers, attempts, hints used, completion history and preferences are also stored on the device. Please use a nickname rather than a child’s full name. These records are not uploaded to the publisher.

The app does not provide cloud sync between devices. Standard Apple device backups may include app data according to your backup settings.

Managing your data

A parent math check protects the Grown-ups section. Its Delete all learners and progress option removes the local learner records and progress after confirmation. Deleting the app also removes its local data. The publisher cannot recover local progress from your device. Apple backups are managed separately under your settings and Apple’s policies.

Children and device permissions

The offline app does not collect children’s personal information for the publisher. Learner nicknames and ages remain local. The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photo library or location, and does not include public profiles or chat.

Earlier online test builds

Builds 1–5 used an earlier online account system. The offline app does not import those accounts or automatically delete any records held by that earlier service. Parents who used an online test account can contact minho@ohnim.app for questions or deletion requests concerning that account.

Support requests

If you email support, the publisher receives your email address and the information you choose to send to investigate and respond. Please avoid sending a child’s full name, sensitive information or identifying screenshots. You can request deletion of support correspondence, subject to records that must be retained for legal obligations.

This website and Apple services

These support and privacy pages are hosted on Vercel. The hosting provider may process technical request information, including IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. These pages do not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Visiting the website is separate from using the offline app.

App Store purchases, TestFlight delivery and feedback, operating-system services and device backups are handled by Apple under its policies. Feedback you choose to send through TestFlight may be made available to the developer by Apple.
