Start with a little color

Choose a category, select Easy, Medium or Hard, and open a picture. Pick a color and use pencil, paint, crayon or marker. The bucket fills a shape with a tap. Coloring strokes stay within the area where they begin; blank drawings let you draw freely.

Shades, sparkle and size

Tap a color to select it. Hold a color to choose a lighter or darker shade or add glitter. Tap your selected drawing tool again to show its size slider. Pinch to zoom into small details.

Save it. Color it again.

Use Save a copy to keep a colored version and color the original again. Tap the picture title or pull down on its header to see its saved coloring history. Only pictures you mark with a heart appear in favorites.

Your drawings and words

Open Your drawing to create a separate blank sketch. Use Aa to add white hollow letters you can color. Open Aa again to select, move or resize existing letters.

Undo, erase and clear

Undo reverses an edit. Eraser removes strokes; use the bucket to change a filled area. Clearing a coloring page saves its colored version in that picture’s history before resetting it, including added letters. Confirming deletion of a personal sketch deletes that sketch and returns to the list.

Set gentle time limits

Open the gear on the category page. First, complete the parent math question and set a four-digit PIN. Turn on Time limit and choose an allowance for each day. The timer pauses in parent settings, in the background, when the iPad locks, and after a minute without interaction.

A little more time

When the daily allowance ends, the break screen keeps the picture safe. Choose Ask for more time, enter the parent PIN, and select extra minutes for that day. The gear still opens parent settings behind the PIN.

PIN help and sharing

Forgot PIN asks a new math question so a parent can reset the PIN. Repeated incorrect PIN attempts temporarily lock access. Sharing uses the parent PIN if one exists, or a math question if it does not. Parents then choose a destination in the iPad share sheet.

Offline, and on your iPad

Included pictures work offline. No account is required, and Apple Pencil is optional. There are no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Your artwork is stored on this iPad. App updates are designed to preserve saved pictures; deleting the app removes its local data. Export important artwork before deleting the app or moving to another device. There is no in-app cloud sync.

Features and iPadOS compatibility depend on your installed version. Check the App Store or TestFlight listing for that build’s requirements.
